Spotlight Saturday: Dr. Gail Liss, Board Member
What drew you to HASA originally? The superior staff and services that HASA has and provides.
How long have you been affiliated with HASA and in what capacity? Approximately 24 years. I have held every office on the board except treasurer and that's a good thing.
What is your favorite memory with HASA? Watching the children grow from year to year at the school programs. It is amazing to see what progress they make. Moving into our great building.
What's the one thing you want people to know about HASA? That it a place where miracles occur. Some children come in nonverbal and when they leave, they are talking and computer literate.
What are three words to describe HASA? Incredible, life changing, compassionate
What is your favorite word? Maya
What do you like most about HASA? The staff, their commitment, and our programs.
What have you gained from being affiliated with HASA? Great satisfaction watching HASA grow and having the privilege of being an integral part of the growth.
Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us. I was a counselor and head counselor of a camp for indigent children.
