LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE LEAD PRE-K TEACHER
We have an opportunity available for a Long-Term Substitute Lead Teacher of our Pre-Kindergarten program. The Lead Teacher will develop and implement short and long-term lesson plans; supervise three pre-k teachers and volunteers; initiate ongoing evaluation of student’s strengths and needs; and document student progress. This individual will also develop and implement Individualized Education Programs and Behavior Intervention Plans, as needed.
The Lead Teacher should have a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education or related field; Master’s degree is preferred. The candidate should also have a minimum of two years of relevant experience; and hold MSDE Certification in Education or Special Education. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as proven endeavors toward professional growth and learning are a plus.
Our Pre-K program follows the calendar of the Baltimore City Public Schools. This position has an anticipated start date in mid-November 2017 and expected end date in late January/early February 2018.
