Save the Date: May 11-12
Last April, our team at the Center for Fluency Enhancement invited fellow speech-language pathologists to join us for our first annual Mid-Atlantic Fluency Conference. We had a great group (thanks to all of you who came!) and engaged in discussions about everything from differential diagnosis of fluency disorders to types of intervention across the lifespan.
This year, we’re going to do it again! On May 11-12, 2018, we’ll gather for our second annual conference. Rather than going over the basics, we’re diving deep into intervention strategies, offering hands-on time with our experienced clinicians to craft treatments that are flexible to meet the needs of individual clients. We’ll also discuss the importance of teamwork with other SLPs, the crossover of counseling tools into treatment plans, and hear from people who stutter and their families about the things that matter most.
Mark your calendars! Hope to see you there.
