Fiscal Concierge

The Fiscal Concierge is responsible for liaising with third party financial providers including the outsourced CFO/CPA firm and auditors. In addition, the Fiscal Concierge is responsible for guidance in financial matters related to the HASA staff. This position will be responsible for monitoring medical billing for the departments, maintaning the company’s accounting software and accounts payable software, and tracking cash receipts. This position will also be responsible for communicating with vendors, clients, and parents of students regarding any questions related to billing.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and understanding of accounts payable software
  • Maintenance of cash receipts log
  • Correspondence with vendors, clients, and parents of students on all questions related to billing
  • Completion/management of Medical billing as needed (including Medical Assistance and Medicare)
  • Completion of clinical billing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Prior bookkeeping experience required
  • Strong technology skills using Microsoft Office 2007 or later (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook at a minimum, more applications preferred) and Google Suite
  • Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred; willingness to operate in a paperless environment required
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Team player with a positive “can-do” approach
  • A general and growing knowledge of firm products and services in the practice area & a general knowledge of products and services in other practice areas
  • Experience working for a nonprofit organization a plus; willingness to foster an environment of general delightfulness required.
