1:1 Substitute Nurse
Gateway School, a program of The Hearing and Speech Agency, is seeking a substitute RN or LPN to work 1:1 with a student who is medically fragile. The nurse will shadow the individual student throughout the school day to monitor and evaluate the physical condition of the student and to provide routine and emergency care.
The substitute nurse would be needed on Fridays and/or other days, as their schedule allows. School hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., with the exception of Wednesdays, when the school hours are 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Candidates should have an Associates degree in Nursing or higher education; RN or LPN certification required. The individual should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in pediatric nursing. Candidate will need to provide proof of licensure in the state of Maryland and a current CPR certification.
